COCOON · PORTUGAL · 2027
These terms apply to bookings for UNITE YOGA — COCOON 2027 at Cocoon Portugal, taking place from 09–16 September 2027.
Please read them carefully before booking. By completing your booking and making payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
01
A booking for COCOON 2027 is made on a per-person basis.
Submitting the booking form alone does not reserve a place. Your booking is confirmed only once the required payment has been successfully received.
For guests selecting a payment plan, the required initial payment is a £495 non-refundable deposit per person.
For guests choosing to pay in full, the booking is confirmed once the full retreat price has been successfully received.
A place is not held while payment is incomplete or unsuccessful.
Retreat places are limited and room categories are subject to availability at the time payment is completed.
02
Guests choosing to pay in full will pay the full advertised price for their selected room category at checkout.
Guests choosing the payment plan will pay a £495 non-refundable deposit when booking.
The remaining balance will then be divided across the eligible monthly payment dates remaining before the retreat.
Monthly payments are normally collected automatically on the 5th of each month.
The final scheduled payment date is 5 June 2027.
If a booking is made within seven days of the next scheduled collection date, that imminent collection will be skipped and the remaining balance will instead be divided across the subsequent eligible payment dates.
Payment plans are available for bookings made on or before 24 April 2027. Bookings made after that date must be paid in full.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment method connected to your booking remains valid and has sufficient funds for scheduled payments.
If a scheduled payment fails, we will contact you and may attempt to collect the payment again.
If an overdue payment remains unpaid after reasonable attempts to resolve it, UNITE may treat the booking as cancelled by the guest. Any refund due will then be determined by the cancellation policy below.
03
All cancellations must be made in writing to UNITE YOGA.
The £495 booking deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances where the guest chooses to cancel.
For any additional amounts paid above the deposit, the following cancellation schedule applies:
Refunds, where due, will normally be returned to the original payment method.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for cancellation due to illness, injury and other circumstances that may prevent you from travelling.
04
If you are no longer able to attend, you may ask to transfer your booking to another person.
Transfers are not automatic and must be approved by UNITE YOGA in writing.
The replacement guest must accept these booking terms and provide all information reasonably required to operate the retreat.
Any financial arrangement between the original guest and replacement guest is their responsibility unless otherwise agreed with UNITE.
05
COCOON 2027 is sold on a per-person, shared-room basis.
The initial room categories are:
Single occupancy is not available at initial launch.
You may request to share with a specific person. That person must complete their own booking and payment separately.
Entering another person's name on your booking form does not reserve a place for them.
Where guests do not request a specific roommate, UNITE will allocate roommates. We will always aim to make thoughtful and appropriate room allocations.
We may make reasonable changes to individual bedroom allocations where required for the operation of the retreat, while maintaining the room category you purchased wherever reasonably possible.
06
Travel insurance is not included in the price of the retreat.
We strongly recommend that every guest obtains comprehensive travel insurance as soon as their booking is confirmed.
Your policy should be appropriate for your circumstances and ideally include cover for:
UNITE is not responsible for losses that could reasonably have been covered by suitable travel insurance.
07
Retreat programmes sometimes require reasonable changes.
We may alter teachers, class times, activities, meals, excursions or other aspects of the programme where necessary, provided the overall character and quality of the retreat are maintained.
All yoga classes, workshops and organised activities are optional.
In the unlikely event that UNITE cancels the entire retreat and does not offer a suitable replacement retreat or alternative date, payments made directly to UNITE for the cancelled retreat will be refunded.
UNITE is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation, insurance or other costs arranged independently by guests.
For this reason, we strongly recommend that flights and other travel arrangements are covered by appropriate travel insurance.
08
Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Portugal unless expressly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for ensuring you hold any passport, visa, travel documentation or other entry requirements applicable to you.
Participation in yoga and other physical activities is voluntary.
Guests should exercise their own judgement, work within their personal capabilities and inform the relevant teacher where there is information that is reasonably necessary for safe participation.
You may choose to skip any class, workshop, activity or excursion.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, teachers, staff, the venue and local community.
Serious misconduct, threatening behaviour, harassment or behaviour that materially disrupts the retreat may result in a guest being asked to leave. In these circumstances, refunds will not normally be provided.
09
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, UNITE is not responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including disruption to transport, severe weather, natural events, government restrictions, industrial action or actions of independent third-party providers.
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout the retreat.
10
If you need to discuss your booking, cancellation, payment plan or room allocation, please contact UNITE YOGA.
We ask that any cancellation or transfer request is made in writing so that both you and UNITE have a clear record of the request.
