Retreat Ready Backup Rehearsal — Privacy Notice

This notice applies only to the Retreat Ready Backup Rehearsal tool, operated by Taylor Selby trading as Unite Yoga. It covers authorised rehearsals using fictional records and files, rather than real guest bookings.

What the tool accesses and stores

With an operator's permission, the tool uses Google's drive.file scope to create files and access files created by the app or explicitly selected for use with it. It uses those files to upload and download encrypted rehearsal backups and verify that they can be recovered correctly.

Stored material includes encrypted fictional database records and test files, an encrypted record of rehearsal deletions, and operational records used to verify or reconcile uploads. Those operational records include timestamps, file identifiers, checksums, verification results and upload status. They may also contain encrypted backup copies needed to reconcile an interrupted upload.

Who processes or can access it

Google provides the authorised Drive storage and connection. GitHub provides the temporary computing environment used to run the rehearsal. Cloudflare has processed backup-verification metadata during an alert rehearsal.

Access to stored Drive files is limited to people authorised for those files. Decrypting the backups requires a separate encryption key. Authorised technical administrators manage the tool and its connection. Logs contain verification metadata rather than backup contents or secret values. Rehearsal backup contents are not published as downloadable GitHub artifacts.

The tool does not use Google data for advertising, sale or AI model training.

Retention and deletion

Rehearsal files are currently retained until an authorised operator removes them manually. Automatic deletion and recurring backups are disabled. A 30-day backup-retention period is proposed but is not currently enforced.

To request removal of rehearsal files or the tool's stored authorisation, contact hello@unite-yoga.com. Removing the Google connection alone does not delete previously stored files.

How to revoke Google access

Open your Google Account's third-party connections, select Retreat Ready Backup Rehearsal, and choose the option to remove its access. This prevents the tool from obtaining further authorised access after revocation takes effect; an operation already in progress may fail or finish before that happens.

Removing access stops future authorised use once revocation takes effect. Files already stored in Drive remain there. To delete those files or remove the credentials saved for this tool, email hello@unite-yoga.com.
