This notice covers the private Retreat Ready Backups tool operated by Taylor Selby trading as Unite Yoga. It covers authorised application backup and recovery and separately labelled fictional rehearsals. It does not replace each retreat organiser's guest booking privacy notice.
An authorised backup may contain retreat and organiser records, guest booking and contact records, payment status and provider references, dietary information where still held in the application, and private uploaded files. The backup tool does not collect payment-card numbers. It also handles deletion and hold records needed to prevent removed information returning during recovery.
With an operator's permission, Google's drive.file scope lets the tool create files and access files created by the app or explicitly selected for it. Google Drive stores encrypted backups, encrypted deletion records and operational verification information. This information includes timestamps, file identifiers, checksums, upload status and recovery results. Encrypted preparation copies may be retained to reconcile an interrupted upload. Archive and journal decryption keys and Google authorisation credentials are held separately from these Drive backup files.
Cloudflare hosts the source application data and private files and processes operational journal/checker requests. GitHub supplies temporary hosted computers that process the authorised export and encrypt, upload, download and verify it. Google supplies the authorised Drive storage and connection. Resend processes operational backup-alert emails, which contain backup status rather than guest information.
Drive access is restricted to designated people. Decryption also requires the separate recovery keys. Logs and verification receipts contain operational metadata rather than guest records, dietary text, recovery links or secret values. Backups are not published as GitHub artifacts. The tool does not use Google data for advertising, sale or AI model training.
Unite Yoga manages the guest records for its own Cocoon retreat. When another organiser uses Retreat Ready, that organiser manages its own guest bookings; Retreat Ready performs the agreed technical backup and recovery on that organiser's behalf. That organiser must provide its own guest-facing contact and venue/catering details.
Once-daily backups and 30-day snapshot rotation are proposed launch settings. Recurring production backups and automatic rotation are currently disabled. Until an approved retention process is enabled, authorised operators manage file removal manually. Independent deletion records must remain available while relevant older backups can be restored, and are not removed by snapshot rotation. A restored application remains closed until the latest required deletion records have been checked and applied.
Removing data from the live application does not immediately rewrite every encrypted older backup. Protected recovery must reapply completed removals before the restored records become accessible. For a removal request or questions about retained backups, email hello@unite-yoga.com.
Open your Google Account's third-party connections, select Retreat Ready Backups and remove its access.
Removing access stops future authorised use once revocation takes effect. Files already stored in Drive remain there. To delete those files or remove the credentials saved for this tool, email hello@unite-yoga.com.
